Cutting Diagram for the Plywood
I'm really pleased that I was able to get a computer desk and a CPU stand out of just one sheet of plywood. I took this diagram with me to the lumber store, and the yard man cut it up for me, on their superior setup. Of course, if you have a good saw & a good setup in your workshop, you can cut it yourself. But this way, I was able to start assembly of the computer desk by 9:00a.m. I think a back panel of 10" would be sufficient, the 15" piece I used looked like too much to me once I put it on. You should get the best quality plywood you can afford, this will be the major expense for the project, but nothing else will cost nearly as much. |

My original plan left a piece at the bottom, 9" that was left over. A few weeks later I used it to make a CPU stand. |
